Magic Pouch Clutch

This blog is supposed to be my little craft corner of the internet, right?  Well, did you know that I sew a little, too?  It's true!

Before Craftsy fully converted to it's current website, I spent many hours browsing the free patterns.  I searched crochet and sewing patterns, because I'm always down for free. ;)  I came across the Magic Pouch Clutch, and I love this thing!  I've made about eight of them so far: two gifts, one for myself (the first one I made), and five more as commissions.

The original pattern is made up of two zippered pouches on opposite sides of each other.  I'm going to do a little experimenting and add an inside zipper pocket, card slots, and who knows what else!

If you're interested in the same pattern, it is a free download designed by Teresa Lucio Designs.  Here is the pattern link.

Here is a before:

And, this is what it looks like all sewn together!

With the exception of the explicit material, the fabrics used were purchased at JoAnn's.  The explicit fabric is made and sold by Moon Beam Textile Co.

If you're interested in having a pouch or two commissioned, comment or email me to place an order.  I do have a Facebook album with all of the material I have on hand that can be used for this project, as well as a few others.
